 Group 1


Group 1 presentation was AI in education and sports. Also, this is the group I am in and that part I did was “what is the good and bad in Ai in education in the next 5 years.” We presented how AI is in education first and then the second part was about how AI is in sports. Our presentation was organized, I enjoyed the design and we all did our part. We talked about both the good and bad of AI in the education system. AI is rapidly changing and advancing right in front of us. One point that was mentioned was how negatively it will affects the kids and the adults. For instant, the kids might overly rely on the internet to find answers and not use other resources to do work to find the solution on whatever they’re learning about. As for the adults in the education industry, it can put them out of work because there’s a possibility that machines will be taking over soon. AI in the sports industry helps track the performance of athletes and record that data. Also there are other ways that AI is being used in the sport industry, as in keep track of scores, replaying footages on the screen for ppl to see again, for the correct outcome of the games. 


Group 2

Group 2 talked about AI in the economy and mental health. The part that stuck with me is how AI will take over so many peoples jobs. Just waking up one day and losing ur job to a machine and in that moment it’ll be much more difficult to find another job that a human can still preform. The only thing we can do to prepare ourselves is to learn a new skill or skills, that only humans can preform or work in remote jobs. What said was how Ai is taking is diagnosing and treat mental disorders. Ai in mental healthcare aids patients to chat with chatbots or virtual therapists, which is a good optional alternative. 


Group 3

Group 3 spoke about AI in the entrainment and social industry. What was discussed about Ai in the social life was computer intelligence, digital production, and virtual entertainers. It’s interesting thinking about how systems can write scripts and have so much ways to create and edit content within a short amount of time.


Overall, AI is advancing, whether it’s in the education, sports, healthcare, and entertainment industry. Doing this subject made me really aware of what might come to pass in future on a deeper level. We learned both the good and bad on how AI will impact these environment. Whether you are working alongside AI or with it, or being introduced by in certain establishments. Ai has its pros and cons and only you will be able to tell what your experience will be. All the groups had an amazing presentations and they all was interesting as well.

BLOG #2- GROUP 1- ESTEPHANIE FARACH

Artificial intelligence leverages computers and machines to mimic the problem solving and decision making capabilities of the human mind. We had three groups do fantastic presentations on Artificial intelligence and how they are affecting or changing different topics for the better or for the worse.  The first group that presented was group three. This group was assigned to speak about Artificial intelligence in social life, entertainment, and potential careers. I learned during this presentation that some people are all for the upcoming changes while some others are not.
